Today, I'm on Rebun Island. Cloudy and grey, but still pretty.
Dinner at the pension was really delicious. Part of dinner was a seaweed that we dipped into a hot broth. When the seaweed went into the hot broth, it turned from brown to bright green. The pictures aren't in perfect order, but you can probably guess which is which.
We also had my favorite Japanese soup for dinner - tonjiru. It's pork and miso soup with all kinds of other yummy stuff. Mmmm.
